Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is a serious complication of the second-third trimester, with clinical symptoms such as: edema, hypertension, protein Uriah, convulsions to coma with age above 20 weeks gestation, and can occur antepartum-intrapartum-pascapartus. This study aims to determine the factors associatedwithhypertensioninpregnantwomen. This research method is correlation. The population in this study are all mothers Post partum many as 32 people, with a sample size of 32 respondents, taken tottal sampling. Data was collected through interviews using a questionnaireandthenpresentedinafrequencydistributiontableandcrosstable. The results of this study indicate that factors that influence the incidence of hypertension is a history of hypertension p = 0.031 (p <0.05), obesity p = 0.005 (p <0.05), spacing pregnancies (parity) p = 0.005 (p <0, 05), and a family historyofp=0.000(p<0.05).
