Asthma is a chronic condition that can be fatal if it isn't treated promptly during an attack. Patients with an asthma attack cannot breathe enough air to supply the body with oxygen and within minutes, the patient can die. In Vietnam today, people can buy antibiotics on their own without the need of a doctor to prescribe or visit. Many people who only see signs of coughing, wheezing have voluntarily bought antibiotics for use. The overuse of antibiotics is very common in asthma patients.
