Antivirus resistance is one of the challenges in the management of influenza children. Meanwhile, a vaccine is only effective if it contains an epidemic strain of influenza virus. Kintamani District is a hilly area with thriving medicinal plants and remote to healthcare facilities. Therefore herbs play a key role in treating children with influenza. This study aims to investigate herbs used to treat influenza symptoms in Balinese children. This qualitative research collected data through interviews and observation. The researcher proposed questions to respondents that were traditional healers, traditional traders and society. The research was conducted on 37 informants spread across 6 villages. Meanwhile, 36 herbs from 21 families have the potential effect to overcome influenza in children. These plants can be processed into 29 medicinal herbs. Most of the herbs were processed in combination. Allium cepa var. aggregatum L. is a plant that is often used in herb mixtures with a rate of 22.2%. The local tradition of using medicine by spouting (simbuh) on the body is one of the typical routes carried out by the community in Kintamani District, Bali Province to overcome influenza symptoms in childrenen_US
