Abstract

Abstract. Knowing the purpose of this study is the role of employers in maintaining continuity batik and batik Semarangan Knowing the constraints experienced in Semarang batik entrepreneurs in developing batik industry and how to overcome them. The population in the study were all batik entrepreneurs in Kampung Batik Semarang 429 Building Ngesti Pandowo Omah Batik Semarang. Sampling technique used in this study is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Methods of data collection using questionnaires, which is supported by the observation and documentation . This study uses linear regression analysis. The results based on manual calculations if the total number of subjects less than 100 taken all that work was the study population, if the major subject can be taken 10 % -20 % or 20 % -25 % or more.
