The purpose of this research is to know how to utilize jackfruit wood waste. Jackfruit wood waste can be extracted and used as a dye with safer consideration and utilize waste wood that is not used anymmore. The object of this research is jackfruit wood waste, cotton cloth , mordanting process (pre mordanting) and (post mordanting) using alum, lime tohor and tunjung. This experimental research was conducted to make the coloring of cotton cloth using jackfruit wood waste, to then tested color aging, fastness to washing, and color difference. The Tukey test result state that for color aging there is no effect on any mordan comparison. Kruskall Wallis test result for (Grey Schale) and color difference result is not sgnificant. Mann Whitney test result for (Grey Schale) in each mordan there is influence for this type of mordan alum with lime tohor. The difference of each mordan for the color difference shows there is influence for all types of mordan. The resulting color yield for the alum mordan leads to a reddish yellow color, resulting in the result mordan lime color to yellow tint, the resulting color for mordan tunjung leads to a greenish yellow color.
