D (MASKER) COVID-19 UNTUK PENYANDANG DIFABEL Irma Russanti, Lailatul Rohmah, Mein Kharnolis Pendidikan Kesejahteraan Keluarga, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, irmarussanti@unesa.ac.id, lailaturohmah@mhs.unesa.ac.id, meinkharnolis@unesa.ac.id Abstract. Masks are an important personal protective tool at this time, the use of masks can reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The existing mask design cannot be used by everyone, especially people with disabilities. The development of mask designs is needed by people with disabilities in addition to protecting themselves as well as providing comfort in communicating. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the design, materials, and wearability of COVID-19 masks for people with disabilities. To obtain this literature study, a journal search was conducted on the design, materials, and wearability of masks that are good for public protection and protect from the spread of droplets (liquids) obtained from Google Scholar, Research Gate, Mendeley, and PubMed from 2017 to 2020 and get more than 10 journals. The results of a literature study show that the materials for COVID-19 masks for people with disabilities have two materials, namely cotton and mica with quilter cotton, the design of the COVID-19 masks for people with disabilities has a transparent part in the mouth and good wearability of COVID-19 masks for people with disabilities. protect against droplets and comfort in communication Keywords: masks, design, COVID-19, difableen_US
