The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the carpet using Knitting techniques with TARN yarn (T-shirt Yarn). The method of this research is experimental, the type of experiment in this study is pure research, namely the experiment of making carpets using knitting techniques, in this experiment making carpets with 2 models namely models A and B using the basic material of T-shirt yarn. This research variable used a single variable that is the quality of the carpet made from T-shirts, this variable does not affect or be influenced by other variables. Data collection methods in observation researchers with observation sheets. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentages. The results of the study of carpet quality tested by 38 respondents. The results of the quality test analysis showed that the overall carpet product was very high. The highest quality study was found in the model B carpet with an average value of 81.64%, very high criteria, then the model A carpet with an average value of 80.86%. The conclusion from this study is that the highest quality is found in carpet model B with a percentage value of 81.64%. Keyword: quality of carpet,T-shirt yarn, knitting technique
