The purpose of this study was to determinethe quality of scraves using cotton yarn with crochet technique. The sampling technique uses proparationate stratified random sampling of 52 students. The research variable usesa single a variable that is the quality of the scraft. Data collection method uses product observation sheets. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis of percentages. The overall results of the study by panelists namely square scarves obtained 87.58% results, rectangular scarves obtained 87.42% results, triangle scarves obtained 87.48% results. The conclusion of the research is that the quality of the scarf using cotton yarn with crochet technique is included in the very high criteria, so that the three scarf products are declared of quality. Suggestion from this research is the indicator of material has the lowest percentage compared to other indicators, for further research it is necessary to pay attention to the use of yarn that is more in line with the product produced and pay attention to the type of stitch used, for further research it is better to use a more varied stitch to add aesthetic value product Keyword: quality of shawl, cotton yarn, crochet |
