Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the quality of the outer finished product of the textile waste hook using the macrame technique. The population in this study were 40 students of Clothing Management in 2015 and 2016 who took the Fabric Engineering Course. Purposive sampling technique of 38 students and 2 expert panelists. This research variable is a single variable that does not affect or is influenced by other variables in the form of the quality of the outer results of the textile waste hook using the macrame technique. The data collection method is a questionnaire. Statistical data analysis with descriptive analysis of percentages. The results of this study indicate that the outer creation of textile waste using macrame techniques as a whole is considered feasible by expert experts with a percentage value of 83.3%. Outer from textile waste using macrame technique, seen from the quality test results by expert panelists and trained panelists with design indicators, materials, macrame and packaging techniques showed an overall result of 92.5% so that it has very good / very high quality.
