Abstract

This study aims to create a batik canting stamp from used cans, determine the results of the quality of the use of canting cap, and determine the feasibility of batik canting stamp used materials. The method used in the creation of this product is the R&D research method, which states that in this research phase consists of potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision and product trials. The results of this research in visualizing batik canting cap from used cans in the manufacturing process are not much different from making canting cap copper material, only these canned materials are treated a little differently because the cans are less easily shaped so it needs to be burned in about 30 minutes. Whereas the creation of canting stamp cans is implemented on two standard sized canting cap products, namely 18 x 18 cm with the pattern of conservation UNNES, namely the stylation of the UNNES logo and weed cacalincingan which have a certain philosophy. The feasibility test of canned batik canting is assessed from several indicators by 3 experts of canting cap and 20 respondents who frequently use batik canting cap, namely batik stamp crafters.
