dc.description.abstractScabies is an infestation of mites (Sarchoptes Scabie) which causes small reddish brunts and itching in some parts of the body. This disease is commonly found in places with dense residents such as army dormitories, prisons, and boarding schools. Scabies is the third out of ten outpatient diseases in hospitals in Indonesia with 192,414 visits (23.9%) and a total of 122,076 new cases (31.7%). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge and personal hygiene with the incidence of scabies in Ponpes Al-Yusufiah Holbung. This study used an analytical survey using a questionnaire, with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 150 people, and the sample of this study amounted to 100 people. The sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship of knowledge p-value<0,05 with personal hygiene p-value<0,05 of students with scabies events.en_US
