FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PEMANFAATAN JAMBAN KELUARGA DALAM PROGRAM PAMSIMAS DI DESA SIPENGGENG TAHUN 2019

Abstract

Toilet is a room that has human waste facilities consisting of a squat or a seat with a goose neck (cemplung) which is equipped with a collection of dirt and water to clean it. In Indonesia the rural population uses clean water only reaches 67,3Yo, while the population using healthy latrines is only 54%.Thts study is to determine the factors associated with the use of family latrines inthe PAMSIMAS program in the village of Sipenggeng in 2019. The method of this research is anal¡ic descriptive, \¡/ith cross sectional research design. Population and sample in this reseach as 56 household with sampling technique is total sampling. The instrument of this study was a questionnaire using the Chi-Square test. 'lhe results of the univariate analysis of56 Head of the majority of households with low education (not completing elementary school and graduating frorn elenentary school) were 27 families (48.2%). The result of this study conclucted that there is a relationship of iinowledge with the gse of latrines (p-value:0,025<0.05), the habit of defecation of using latrines þ-value:0,000<C,05), and atutide of using the toilet negative (pvalue:0,003<0,05). It is expected that the community wili further increase the use' of family toliets so that defecation behaviour in rivers/ditches can Cecrease.
