HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KUNJUNGAN LANJUT USIA DI POSYANDU LANSIA DI DESA SILANDIT KECAMATAN PADANGSIDIMPUAN SELATAN KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN TAHUN 2019

Abstract

Posyandu Lansia background is integrated service posts for the elderly in a certain agreed area that is driven by the community where they get health services, so that it can improve the health status of the elderly to achieve healthy elderly. Based on data from the Padangmatinggi health center the coverage of elderly visits in silandit posyandu in 2018 was only 44,4% which was still below the target set by the health service, which was 75%. The purpose if this study was to determine the relationship. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of family support with the visit of the elderly at the elderly village, Padangsidimpuan Selatan sub-district in 2019. This research method is quantitative analytic survey method with Cross Sectional survey design. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique, with a total sample of 124 elderly. Statistic tests using Chi Square with a significance level of 95% , α = 0,05. The result of the bivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between family support and elderly visits at the Posyandu for the elderly with a value of p (sign) = 0,981>0,05. It was concluded that there was no relationship between family support and elderly visits in the elderly Posyandu of Silandit Village, South Padangsidimpuan sub-district in 2019. It is expected that health workers can provide encouragement to the elderly to support the implementation of posyandu and conduct approaches/ counseling to the elderly, and to families to increase support for the elderly in carring out visits to posyandu.
