HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN PEMBERIAN IMUNISASI CAMPAK PADA BAYI DI DESA SIHITANG KECAMATAN PADANGSIDIMPUAN TENGGARA KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN TAHUN 2019

Abstract

Measles immunization is a highly effective health interventions to protect children from measles disease. Measles immunization in Indonesia is already approaching the targets set, yet areas including in the village of Sihitang is only reached 55%. The research is to know the relation of knowledge and support families by administering measles immunization. This research is a type of quantitative research design used cross sectional. The research sample is babies mother’s as many as 61 people specified in simple random sampling. Statistics test used chi square with 90% significance level α = 0.1. The results of the analysis showed that the less knowledgeable mother as many as 55.7%. Mothers with enough family support as many as 52.5%. Mothers who did not do the measles immunization to less knowledgeable as many as 73.5% and Mothers who do imunissai measles knowledgeable enough as many as 72.7. Mothers who supported families who are not doing as many as measles immunization 50% and Mothers who supported families who do immunization against measles as many as 50%. The results showed a relationship between knowledge by giving of measles immunization with a pvalue = 0.03 (< 0.1) and there is a relationship between family support by administering measles immunization with a p value = 0.02 (< 0.1). In order to improve his knowledge of maternal measles immunization so that mothers will know the benefits of immunization for measles and harm against children's health if not immunized against measles.
