dc.description.abstractOne factor related to the use of IUD contraception is the fear of side effects that can affect psychologically, namely anxiety. Anxiety or worry, fear that is not clear why. Anxiety is a great force in moving deviant behavior, both nomal behavior and deviant behavior, which is disturbing, both are statements, appearance, explanation, defense of maternal anxiety. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitudes with anxiety level KB IUD acceptors. The research method used is quantitative analytic research. With a population of 150 who use IUD contraception and sampling techniques using the Cluster Sampling technique, with a total sample of 60 respondents. The statistical test used is Chi Square. The results of the study are known that KB IUD acceptors in the working area of Puskesmas Padangmatinggi have a relationship of knowledge with anxiety levels with a value of p = 0,000 (p <α) and there is an attitude relationship with anxiety levels with a value of p = 0.006 (p <α). Because it is necessary to give advice that the role of midwives or other health workers in order to improve Communication, Information and Education (IEC) about the benefits of using contraceptive IUD exclusively to the community.en_US
