Abstract: | Immunization is an effective and efficient strategy to improve national health status. The reason babies did not get complete immunization due to information factors, resulted in less knowledge of mothers about immunization. The importance of immunization is based on the idea that prevention of disease is the most important effort in maintaining children's health. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance of mothers about the provision of basic immunization with the completeness of basic immunization in the Working Area of the Pokenjior Health Center in the City of Padangsidimpuan. Quantitative research using primary data from the results of a questionnaire recapitulation distributed to mothers who have children under five in the work area of the Pokenjior Health Center in Padangsidimpuan City with a sample of 56 people using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance of mothers about the provision of basic immunization with the completeness of basic immunization in the Pokenjior Health Center Work Area, p value = 0.000) p value <0.05). Officers at the Pokenjior Health Center in Padangsidimpuan City and advised to the posyandu cadres and puskesmas officers to provide counseling about immunization, function, and schedule for the immunization |
