dc.description.abstractIn general, the factors that cause fertile age couples (PUS) not to become participants in the long-term contraceptive method (MKJP) are MKJP family planning services that are still lacking in quality, limited contraceptives, the delivery of counseling and IEC (communication, information, and education). The design in this study is Quasy-experimental The number of population in this study is 15 respondents. The sampling sampling used was total sampling technique Total sampling is a sampling technique where the number of samples is the same as the population and 15 respondents were obtained. nd obtained 15 respondents. Analysis of the data with univariate and bivariate analysis with a significance level of 0.002. obtained p-value = 0.002 or a significance value of 0.002. Where based on the hypothesis that α <0.05 or 0.002 <0.05 then reject H0 is rejected Ha accepted so that there is an influence between giving counseling to users of contraceptives long-term Contraception methods in couples of childbearing age. It is recommended for Village Midwives and Community Health Centers to participate in improving the provision of counseling first to contraceptive users who want to useen_US
