dc.description.abstractNosocomial infection is an infection that occur in 3x24 hours after patient entranceinthehospitalandnotfromtheinfectionbefore. This research was done to know the descriptions of behaviour of the visitor about prevention of nosocomialinfectioninclassroomRSUDPadangsidimpuancity2016. This research was a descriptive survey wich was done to the visitor from the patient who was caring room, with 71 of samples. Primary data from this research was gotten by interview that using questionnaire of the descriptions of knowledge, attitude and practice about prevention of nosocomial infection in the hospital. The data wich was taken than was processed, analysed and presented in distributionoffrequentytable. The results of this research reported that the stage knowledge of respondence was in less category that contain 54 person (76,1%), attitude of the respondence wasintopofcategory thatcontain43person(60,56%), andpractice ofrespondence wasinmiddleofcategorythatcontain41person(57,75%). Based on this research suggest for an education programme and awareness about the important of prevention nosocomial infection in the hospital, cooperating in keeping sanitations of the hospital, and also supervision of the policyaboutpreventionandcontrollerinfectionofthehospital.en_US
