Abstract

Organ genitalia very easily infected when menstruation because germs easily enter and cause disease of the reproductive tract (Kusmiran, 2011). The main causes of reproductive tract infections, namely: weak immunity (10%), lack of hygiene during menstruation behavior (30%), and the environment is not clean aswellastheuseofpadsthatarelesshealthyduringmenstruation(50%) The purpose of this study was to determine Knowing Knowledge Relationships teenage daughter about menstruation with menstrual Personal Hygiene inMTS Jabalul Madaniah Sijungkang Eastern DistrictofAngkola 2016. This study uses descriptive research correlation with cross sectional design. The population in this study of young women aged 10-19 years at MTS Jabalul Madaniah Sijungkang 32 people by taking a sample of 25% of the population, using the technique of sampling purvosive Data analysis was performed with chisquaretest. Statistical test results obtained Knowledge teenage daughter about menstruation with menstrual Personal Hygiene in MTS Jabalul Madaniah Si jungkangEasternDistrictofAngkola2016,withthestrengthofthecorrelation(r) = 0.575. And the level of significance (p) of 0,003, which means that there is a relationship between knowledge of girls about menstruation with personal hygieneduringmenstruation Advice to the young women need increased knowledge about personal hygiene duringmenstruationoftenreadhealtharticlesonreproductivehealthand actively follow related to adolescent reproductive health counseling
