dc.description.abstractImmunization is an attempt to confer immunity in infants and children by incorporating the vaccine into the body so that the body makes antibodies to prevent against certain diseases. While the definition of a vaccine is used to stimulate the formation of antibodies that is inserted into the body through injection(eg,BCG,DPT,andmeasles)andoral(egpoliovaccine). The purpose of this study is the relationship Knowing Knowledge and Attitudes Toward Parents With Basic Immunization in Rural Sitaratoit District of West Angkola 2016.This research uses descriptive research design is research linkingcorrelation.Thisstudyusedcrosssectionalapproach. The results showed that the majority of the 37 respondents less knowledgeable totaling 24 persons (64.8%), and a good knowledge minority totaling3(8.1%),thenthere isarelationshipwithavalue ofp=0.001(α<0.05) , And based on the results of research on immunization actions of 37 respondents the majority being less amounted to 27 (72.9%), good behave minority totaling 3 (8.1%),thenthereisarelationshipwithavalueofp=0.002(α<0.05). it is expected to increase public awareness, especially parents with babies on the importance of complete basic immunization in infants and following the workprograminthelocalareasuchasPosyanduen_US
