Abstract

Nutritional status of children is the state of the body as a result of consumption of food and use nutriens, to distinguish between good nutritional status, less and bad. Mother’s behavior regarding nutrition is what is known mother about healthy food and how she choose, processing and preparing foodproperly. Thepurposeofthisstudywastodetermine therelationshipofthebehavior of mother and children against nutrional status of children in the village Bonan dolok mountain district north Padangsidimpuan year 2016.Research is descriptive correlation with Cross Sectional design with a sample of mothers who where in the village Bonan Dolok mountain district north Padangsidimpuan year 2016.Thetechniqueofdatacollectionwasdonebyinterviewusingaquestionaire. ThestudywascondustedinDesembers/dJuli2016. The result showed that there is a relationship behavior of mothers with nutritional status of infants at Bonan Dolok mountain villages north of the city districts Padangsidimpuan 2016, this is evidenced by the result of the chi-square testwithp-value=0,000 Health professionals need to conduct outreach and overall supervision by the relevant agencies (healt departement) about the importance of attention to nutritiontoddlerstoavoidmalnutritionorpoornutrition.
