Snacks must qualified nutritional, sanitation, safety and health so that food produced snacks truly safe and healthy as consumers. The objective of thisresearchistoknowabouthygieneandsanitationsnacks. This kind of research is descriptive and research sites in the Sipirok Market Sipirok subdistrct South Tapanuli District. While the number of samples for snacks seller amounted to 5 seller (2 traders satay, 1 traders fried and 2 tradersmix). The result of this research showing the hygiene and sanitation principle of the seller in Sipirok Market were not comply health based ministry decree of Indonesia number 942/Menkes/SK/VII/2003 namely the storage of the raw material,preparation,transportandservenamely<65%. Based on this result, the official of healthy may hope do counseling about hygieneandsanitationsnackstothestreetvendorsinthemarketSipirok.en_US
