FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KELUARGA DALAM PEMANFAATAN JAMBAN DI DESA SIPANGE SIUNJAM KECAMATAN SAYURMATINGGI KABUPATEN TAPANULI SELATAN TAHUN 2015

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect families in the use of household toilets. This research uses the analytic survey with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in the village of Sipange Siunjam using total sampling technique with a total sample of 17 and the head of the family. Instruments used is a questionnaire with 20 statements were developed by the researchers. The analysis is the analysis of univariate and bivariate. The results of the statistical test ChiSquare test the value of α = 0.015 (α <0.05), Ha received no training in the use of factors influence household toilets.The results of the statistical test ChiSquare test the value of α = 0.007 (α <0.05),Ha received no economic factors influence family in the utilization of family latrines.The results of the statistical test ChiSquare test the value of α = 0.013 (α <0.05), Ha received no influence among the factors of knowledge in the use of household toilets.The results of the statistical test Chi Square test the value of α = 0.007 (α <0.05), Ha received no influence factor in the use of toilet habits of the family.The results of the statistical test ChiSquare test the value of α = 0.007 (α <0.05), Ha received no influence socio-cultural factors in the use of household toilets.The need for improvement of environmental sanitation in the form of the addition of family latrines or toilets in the village Sipange Siunjam an effort to prevent disease transmission from human feces.
