HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK IBU HAMIL DENGAN PEMANFAATAN PELAYANAN ANTENATAL CARE DI KELURAHAN TOBAT KECAMATAN PADANGSIDIMPUAN UTARA KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN TAHUN 2015

Abstract

Complications of pregnancy and childbirth can be prevented with antenatal care on a regular basis. Antenatal care is a planned program conducted by health workers in the from of observasi, education, and medical treatment to pregnant women to abtain a safe pregnancy and childbirth. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of characteristics of pregnant women on the utilization of antenatal care services in village Tobat reventance Padangsidimpuan northern distridts city padangsidimpuan year 2015. This type of research is a quantitative research design correlational research. Conducted in the village of repentance to 56 pregnant women. Tool used is a questionnaire with the analysis of the chi-square. The result showed that a significant relationship between education and the support of her husband on the utilization of antennal care by pregnant women in the village Tobat. In improve the utilization of antenatal care services is expected for health workers to better inform about antenatal care so as to enhance knowledge and apply it to pregnant women in everyday life.
