dc.description.abstractAir is a substance that is most important after the water in the giving of life on this earth. Air pollution from fires in the traditional kitchen, especially the use of firewood and stove oil is a public health risk. This type of research is descriptive, to describe the behavior of the sellers of fried food on health complaints in the use of firewood as fuel for cooking in the District of North Padangsidimpuan Padangsidimpuan City. The population is a whole seller of fried food in the District of North Padangsidimpuan totaling 27 persons, respondents in this study amounted to 27 or the total population. From the results, knowledge of respondents are in good categorical as many as 24 respondents (88.9%), the attitude of the respondent of 14 persons (51.9%), and respondents who meiliki action was as much as 15 respondents (55.6%). for health complaints as many as 17 people (63.0%) said that they had experienced health complaints.
