dc.description.abstractThe patient’s adherence to the type II Diabetes Melitus diet plays an important role in stabilizing blood glucose levels, because this dietary compliance itself is important to able develop routines or habits that can help patients follow a diet schedule. The purpose of adherence to dietary pattern is to help patiens improve their eating habits so they can control blodd glucose levels within normal limits. Of research was quantitative researched with research design used non-experimental by used a descriptive correlational design with a cross sectional approach with a population of 235 respondents and a sample of 148 respondents. Assessment done by used a questionnaire to analyze the relationship between diet compliance on controlling blood sugar levels obtained p value = 0,0007 <α = 0,05 so can concluded that residual value is normally distributed, so there is a relationship with controlling blood sugar levels in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Padangmatinggien_US
