STUDI KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA BALITA DI PUSKESMAS PARINGGONAN KECAMATAN ULU BARUMUN KABUPATEN PADANG LAWAS TAHUN 2021

Abstract

Stunting describes poor nutritional status chronic at the time of growth and development since the beginning of life. The purpose of this research to know picture of stunting in toddlers At the Paringgonan Health Center In Kecamatan Ulu Barumun Kabupaten Padang Lawas 2021. The type of research used in this study are observational method which is descriptive. This research will be carried out in the working area of At the Paringgonan Health Center In Kecamatan Ulu Barumun Kabupaten Padang Lawas. The population in the study is all toddlers in the area At the Paringgonan Health Center In Kecamatan Ulu Barumun Kabupaten Padang Lawas as many as 1,571 toddlers and the sample in this study is some toddlers taken by using purposive sampling technique as many as 94 children under five. The research results show that of 94 mothers of toddlers who have sufficient knowledge by 75 people (79.8%), Family income is sufficient by 64 people (68.1%) and normal LBW status of 72 people (76.6%). Conclusion reached of 94 toddlers who have a normal stunting status of 67 people (71.3%) and stunting status of 27 people (28.7%). Suggestions for the community in order to make this research as knowledge which can be used as science and application Practical regarding stunting.
