dc.description.abstract | The Family Planning Program is a direct effort aimed at reducing the birth rate using sustainable contraceptives. It is reversible, and is one of the most important means of birth control, both for the purpose of delaying and spacing out pregnancies. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) when compared to other ASEAN countries, the use of contraceptives in Indonesia is 61%, already exceeding the ASEAN average (58.1%). However, it is still lower than Vietnam (78%), Cambodia (79%) and Thailand (80%). The research method is quantitative with a Cross Sectional Study approach. The study was conducted at the North Panyabungan Public Health Center on 78 PUS. Analysis of the data used is Chi Square. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge 0.000 < 0.05, attitude 0.009 < 0.05, husband's support 0.024 < 0.05, and the role of health workers 0.000 < 0.05, with the use of contraceptives. It is concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, husband's support and the role of health workers with the use of contraceptives. It is expected that mothers can express their feelings and thoughts regarding experiences in using contraceptive methods. | en_US |
