dc.description.abstract | Prelacteal food is food or drink given to newborns before breast milk comes out. One of the factors causing the failure of exclusive breastfeeding is prelacteal feeding. This study aimed to determine the relationship of knowledge with prelacteal supplementary feeding in breastfeeding mothers in Negeri Lama Health Center, Labuhan Batu Regency. The research used quantitative with an analytical descriptive design. This study conducted a cross-sectional approach. The population was 65 breastfeeding mothers who visited Negeri Lama Health Center, Labuhan Batu Regency in 2021 and the sample technique was total sampling. Data analysis used with the cji-square test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the chi-square test obtained a value of p = 0.284. It meant that there was a relationship of knowledge with prelacteal supplementary feeding in breastfeeding mothers in Negeri Lama Public Health Center, Labuhan Batu Regency in 2021. It is expected that Negeri Lama Health Center will further improve health promotion regarding of prelacteal supplementary food in improving public health. | en_US |
