dc.description.abstract | The problem of emesis gravidarum is a phenomenon in pregnant women, especially at a young gestational age. Many of them do not understand about nausea and vomiting/emesis gravidarum and how to deal with it due to lack of information/counseling so that the situation continues to a higher degree and results in decreased knowledge and health of pregnant women. Almost all pregnant women say that the cause of nausea and vomiting comes from the baby itself and is a natural thing. This study aims to describe the knowledge of pregnant women in the first trimester about the incidence of emesis gravidarum. The method in this research is descriptive. The population in this study were 55 pregnant women. The sample in this study was 55 using the total sampling technique. The results showed. The results showed that the level of good knowledge was 17 people (30.9%), enough for 6 people (10.9%) and 32 people had less knowledge (8.2%). It is expected that pregnant women always seek information about pregnancy complications, especially hyperemesis gravidarum, and can respond well to all complications that occur in pregnancy. | en_US |
