dc.description.abstractThe nutritional status of breastfeeding mothers will determine the quantity and quality of milk production so that it indirectly plays a role in determining the nutritional status of children. Therefore it needs serious and objective attention. Babies under the age of 6 months really need breast milk as a source of nutrition for optimal growth. Many mothers in Indonesia do not know about the exclusive breastfeeding program because of the lack of knowledge of mothers about good nutrition during breastfeeding. The research method is descriptive relational using a cross sectional approach, a sample of 43 people. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed knowledge of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05) The conclusion of the study was that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge about the diet of breastfeeding mothers and the nutritional status of breastfeeding mothers for babies 0-6 months at the Siabu Health Center, Mandailing Natal Regency in 2021. It is recommended that it is expected to maintain health conditions and improve A good diet, and fulfill nutrition and healthy food and vitamins.en_US
