Abstract: | Immunization is the provision of immunity against a disease by inserting something into the body so that the body is resistant to a disease that is endemic or harmful to a person. Immunization against a disease will only provide immunity or resistance to that disease, so that to avoid the disease there will be no illness or minor illness. Immunization given to women of childbearing age and pregnant women is TT immunization which is useful for preventing tetanus. Tetanus cases are often found in a number of tropical countries and countries that still have poor health conditions. In 2018 WHO estimated 59,000 infant deaths due to tetanus, this number has decreased by 90% when compared to 2019 where there were 787,000 deaths due to Tetanus. The research method is descriptive relational using a Cross Sectional approach, a sample of 94 people. Data analysis using Chi Square test. The results showed that knowledge was 0.001 (0.001 < 0.05). The conclusion of the study was that there was a relationship of knowledge and interest in WUS immunization in Tetanus Toxoid immunization in the working area of the Siabu Health Center, Siabu District, Mandailing Natal Regency in 2021. It is recommended that Wus who reside in the Siabu Health Center area understand about the benefits of Immunization and want to do it. |
