Abstract: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is an indicator of the success of development in the health sector. The World Health Organization (2020) estimates that the death of pregnant women is 303,000 people or around 216/100,000 live births. Pregnant women are reluctant to use jampersal because everything that is free seems to have a relatively poor quality of service. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the utilization of the maternity insurance program (jampersal) at the Tukka Health Center in 2021. The type of research was quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women in 2021 who visited the Tukka Health Center totaling 70 people. The number of samples in this research is 70 people using total sampling technique. The analysis used is the Chi-Square test. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the utilization of the maternity insurance program (jampersal) (p=0.000). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the utilization of the maternity insurance program. Suggestions for the need for socialization of Jampersal to the entire community by increasing the participation of cadres, religious leaders, and community leaders in providing socialization with brochures, leaflets, posters about Jampersal and other information media.
