HUBUNGAN LAMA PENGGUNAAN KONTRASEPSI SUNTIK 3 BULAN DENGAN KEJADIAN SPOTTING DI PRAKTEK MANDIRI BIDAN ELISA REBECCA HARAHAP KABUPATEN PADANG LAWAS UTARA

Abstract

Giving the injection-contraception is common completed with many side effects, such as temporary menstruation and it makes one spotting phenomena. Data of WHO (World Health Organization) show that 50% of the users the injectioncontraception 3 months has the spotting. The aim of this research is to know the correlation of the using-time of injection-contraception 3 months with spotting phenomena in Private Clinic of Bidan Elisa Rebecca Harahap Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara in the year 2021. Type of this research is quantitative research with cross sectional study approach. The population of this research belongs to the mother’s user of the injection-contraception 3 months in Private Clinic of Bidan Elisa Rebecca Harahap Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara, here, they are about 130 people. Then the sample is taken by using random sampling technique and the sample is related with 57 people. The data analysis is processed with Chi Square Test. The result of this research shows that there is correlation of the using-time of injection-contraception 3 months with spotting phenomena (p=0,000). Here, the result tends to be conclusion of this research. Thus, the suggestion is the mothers should know the using of injection-contraception, especially about the side effect of it, namely the spotting phenomena through the health-servants.
