dc.description.abstractAnemia in pregnant women is still one of the national problems because it reflects the value of the socio-economic welfare of the community, and has a very large influence on the quality of human resources. Anemia of pregnancy is called 'potential danger to mother and child', that's why anemia requires attention from all parties involved in leading health services. Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) 2019, there are 40% of maternal deaths in developing countries related to anemia in pregnancy. Most anemia in pregnancy is caused by iron deficiency and acute bleeding, even though the distance between the two interacts. This study aims to determine the effect of education consuming Fe tablets on the adherence of pregnant women to consume Fe tablets. This research was conducted at Batunadua Public Health Center, Padangsidimpuan City on 30 pregnant women. Analysis of the data used is the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed the p-value = 0.000, (p <0.05). The conclusion is that there is an effect of education on the consumption of Fe tablets on the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets during pregnancy at Batunadua Health Center in 2021. Suggestions are expected It is recommended for pregnant women to adhere to Fe tablets during pregnancy to prevent anemiaen_US
