Abstract

ANC (Antenatal Care) is a planned program in the form of observation, education, and medical treatment for pregnant women, with the aim of keeping mothers healthy during pregnancy, the possibility of pregnancy risks, planning optimal management of high-risk pregnancies and reducing maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. perinatal. The continuity of health checks during pregnancy can be seen from the K4 visits, the indicators used to assess the quality of health services for pregnant women (ANC which refers to the trimester period during pregnancy checks. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal behavior regarding antenatal care in the third trimester with maternal antenatal visits. This research design is an analytical descriptive study. The population taken is all third trimester pregnant women who have antenatal visits as many as 50 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling in which the entire population is sampled with a sample of 50 people. This study was conducted in the region The work of the Gunung Tua Health Center, North Padang Lawas Regency on the grounds that the mother's behavior regarding antenatal care in the third trimester of K4 visits to pregnant women is still low.The results of 50 respondents after a statistical test using the chi square test. There is a relationship between maternal behavior regarding Antenatal Care Trimester III with K4 visits to pregnant women. to provide positive counseling and support and understanding of the importance of K4 visits to pregnant women so that they can provide motivation for pregnant women to carry out complete K4 visits.
