dc.description.abstract | The use of contraceptives for women of childbearing age is still a health problem, especially in developing countries. This study aims to determine the relationship between the behavior of women of childbearing age and the use of contraceptives in the working area of the Gunungtua Public Health Center, North Padang Lawas Regency in 2021. The type of research used in this study was a correlational analytic survey with a cross sectional study approach. The research location is in the working area of the Portibi Health Center, North Padang Lawas Regency in 2021. The population and sample in this study are mothers of childbearing age who reside and reside in the Portibi Health Center area as many as 96 samples. The results showed that the relationship between knowledge (P = 0.001), attitude (P = 0.003), actions (P = 0.022) and maternal behavior (P = 0.003) were related to the use of contraceptives. The conclusion is obtained that the behavior of women of childbearing age is related to the use of contraceptives.
