HUBUNGAN KONTRASEPSI HORMONAL TERHADAP SIKLUS MENSTRUASI PADA AKSEPTOR KB DI PUSKESMAS SIMPANG GAMBIR KABUPATEN MANDAILING NATAL

Abstract

Menstruation is one nature process that happened for every woman in which there is a phenomenon of loosing blood that signify the organ in the womb has functioned well. The aim of this research is to know the correlation of hormonal contraception with menstruation cycle for acceptor KB in local government clinic of Simpang Gambir Kabupaten Mandailing Natal in the year 2021. The quantitative method is taken to be method of the research with cross sectional study approach. Then this research is taken place on local government clinic of Simpang Gambir Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. The population is about 1.666 people with implant-contraception is about 249 people and inject-contraception is about 1417 people. The sample of this research is taken to be 94 acceptors. The data analysis is used by chi-square test. The result of this research shows that there is correlation of hormonal KB with menstruation cycle in which the value of P 0.001 < 0.05. here, it is concluded that there is correlation of hormonal contraception with menstruation cycle for acceptor KB in local government clinic of Simpang Gambir Kabupaten Mandailing Natal in the year 2021. The suggestion, it is expected that the acceptor KB participation is needed to improve the knowledge about tools of hormonal contraception through following the rle and understanding the information from health-servant.
