dc.description.abstractBackground : 75% of the main causes of maternal death are bleeding. One of the causes of bleeding in childbirth is laceration of the birth canal. Factors that influence the occurrence of birth canal lacerations are age, perineum, maternal labor during labor, fetal factors, time of episiotomy and the use of oxytocin. Objective : To determine the effect of Kegel Exercise on Pregnant Women TM III with Perineal Rupture Incidence in PMB Lina Sari Batuhula Village, Kec. Trunk Trunk. Methods : This study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group post-test design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a sample of 15 respondents. This research was conducted in PMB Lina Sari Kec. Batang Toru in January-August 2021. Results : The results showed that there was an effect of Kegel exercises on pregnant women TM III with the incidence of perineal rupture using the Paired T test, obtained P value = 0.019 (<0.05). Conclusion : It can be concluded that there is an effect of Kegel exercise on TM III pregnant women with the incidence of perineal rupture.en_US
