TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA IBU HAMIL YANG MENGALAMI HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS SIMPANG GAMBIR KABUPATEN MANDAILING NATAL

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy has a close relationship with high morbidity and mortality both in the fetus and in the mother. Hypertension in pregnancy that is not treated properly can develop into preeclampsia. According to the World Health Organization (2019), hypertension in pregnancy affects approximately 10% of all pregnant women worldwide. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of anxiety in pregnant women with hypertension at the Simpang Gambir Health Center, Mandailing Natal Regency in 2021. The type of research used was descriptive with a cross sectional study approach. The population is pregnant women with hypertension as many as 32 people at the Simpang Gambir Health Center, Mandailing Natal Regency. The number of samples of pregnant women with hypertension were 32 people, using nonprobability techniques. The analysis used is univariate. The results of the analysis showed that the level of anxiety in pregnant women with hypertension was at the level of mild anxiety as many as 19 people (59.4%), moderate anxiety as many as 10 people (31.3%), and severe anxiety as many as 3 people (9.4%). . Hypertension in pregnant women can make mothers anxious so it is necessary to provide in-depth information to pregnant women about their condition which is expected to reduce their anxiety, because when pregnant women are more anxious about their condition, the blood pressure of pregnant women is increasingly unstable.
