HUBUNGAN LAMA PEMAKAIAN KONTRASEPSI DMPA DENGAN KEMBALINYA KESUBURAN PADA POST AKSEPTOR KB SUNTIK DMPA DI PUSKESMAS AEK GODANG KECAMATAN HULU SIHAPAS

Abstract

Injectable contraceptives are how to prevent occurrence of pregnancy through hormonal injections given intramuscularly buttocks area. The types of injectable contraceptives are: combination injection contraceptive and Depot Progesterone Medroxy Acicate (DMPA). At Desa Pasir Utama there are 184 people injection contraceptive users in December 2016. Contraceptives of this type of injection has some drawbacks one of them is late return fertility after discontinuation the injectable contraceptive. The purpose of this research is to know Long-term relationship between injection contraceptive use with the return fertility at the Puskesmas Aek Godang Kecamatan Hulu Sihapas 2021. This research method is descriptive correlation with a cross sectional design. Sampling method done by purposive sampling with a sample of 55 people, the sample is 44 people. The Research data analysis is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the Chi Square test. The Research result obtained statistical test results P value = 0.004. Conclusion from this research show that there is relationship between duration DMPA contraceptive use with the return of fertility at post-acceptor injection contraception combination at the Puskesmas Aek Godang Kecamatan Hulu Sihapas 2021. Suggestions are welcome hormonal contraceptive users more than 1 year or long term recommended not to use it in the long term and if you want to use contraception long-term recommended for using non-hormonal contraceptives.
