dc.description.abstract | Edema of the lower limbs is one of the discomforts of pregnancy that pregnant women often complain about. Foot soak therapy can be used as a nonpharmacological alternative by using a cheaper and easier method pragnancy. The general purpose of this study was to determine the effect of warm water bath therapy on edema in the lower limbs of pregnant women. The research design used was a quasi-experimental design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design on the same subject to determine the effect of warm water bath therapy on edema in the lower limbs of pregnant women. The sample of pregnant women who had lower limb edema at the Sibuhuan Health Center, Padang Lawas Regency, was 17 people. Data processing used the dependent t-test (paired sample t-test). The results of this study showed that there was an effect of warm water soaking therapy on edema in the lower limbs of pregnant women at the Sibuhuan Health Center, Padang Lawas Regency in 2021 (p-value = 0.019, (p < 0.05). It is expected that every pregnant woman who has edema in the legs bottom to apply warm water soak therapy to reduce the edema. | en_US |
