FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PEMANFAATAN KELAS IBU HAMIL DI DESA BATANG PANE II KECAMATAN HALONGONAN TIMUR KABUPATEN PALUTA TAHUN 2020

Abstract

FACTORS RELATED TO THE UTILIZATION OF PREGNANT WOMEN CLASSES IN BATANG PANE II VILLAGE, KECAMATAN EAST HALONGONAN, PALUTA DISTRICT IN 2020 Ariany Dwi Hidayati1, Sri Sartika Sari Dewi2, Adi Antoni2 1.Student Midwifery Study Program, Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Health, Aufa Royhan University in Padangsidimpuan City 2.Lecturer at Aufa Royhan University in Padangsidimpuan City ABSTRACT Utilization of classes for pregnant women has been proven to have a better impact on increasing knowledge, changing attitudes and behavior of mothers in order to understand pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the utilization of the class of pregnant women in Batang Pane II Village, Halongonan Timur District, Paluta Regency in 2020. This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were all pregnant women in Batang Pane II Village, Halongonan Timur District, Paluta Regency as many as 36 people. The sample in this study were all pregnant women in Batang Pane II Village, Halongonan Timur District, Paluta Regency as many as 36 people using exhaustive sampling method. The analysis used was Fisher's Exact Test. The results of this study indicate that age (p = 0.127), education (p = 0.005), occupation (p = 0.000), income (p = 0.431), knowledge (p = 0.004), attitude (p = 0.000), husband's support (p = 0.003) were related to the use of classes for pregnant women. There is no relationship between age, income, ethnicity, and religion with the use of the class of pregnant women. The conclusion is that several factors are related to the class of pregnant women. Suggestions for pregnant women to actively participate in pregnant women classes.
