dc.description.abstractBased on the observation on nutrient status on 2017, the exiting of giving vitamin A for the baby (6-59 months) in Indonesia is about 94.73%. In the data of Public Health Officer of North Sumatera in 2018, there is 77.96% the babies from98,174 have the vitamin A. This research is taken by survey within cross-sectional study approach. The sample is about 34 mothers who have babies and they are tajen by total sampling in Lumban Huayan. Based on the the chi square statistical test with level degree 95% (α = 0.05) it can be taken that there is significant correlation between knowledge (P 0.000), mother's motivation (P 0.001), health-servant (P 0.001) with subservience of mothers in giving vitamin A for the baby. Here, it is expected the mothers have more information about the urgency of giving vitamin A for the baby.en_US
