HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KUNJUNGAN IMUNISASI TT PADA CATIN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS LONGAT KABUPATEN MANDAILING NATAL

Abstract

Tetanus Immunization Toxoid is a weakened or purified germ, the tetanus vaccine is a vaccine containing purified or absorbed tetanus toxoid in 3 mg aluminum phosphate. TT immunization will provide active immunity against tetanus toxoid. The TT vaccine is also one of the requirements that must be met when taking care of documents or administrative completeness at the KUA. To the bride and groom, TT immunization is given 2 times with an interval of 4 weeks. TT immunization is given to female catin with the aim of protecting babies who will be born from neonatal tetanus. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between tetanus toxoid immunization for prospective brides and grooms with concern for immunization in the Longat Health Center work area. The type of research used is quantitative with the type of analytical survey research, namely surveys or research that tries to explore how and why health phenomena occur. The research design is based on a cross sectional study. The research was carried out in the working area of the Longat Health Center. The study was conducted in February - September 2021. The population and sample were 48 people with a total sampling technique. The result of this research is that the majority of respondents have sufficient knowledge (41.7%). Based on the majority family support, there is a relationship of respondents supporting the role of a supportive family (62.5%). Based on the low number of visits, the majority supports (56.3%). It is hoped that the Catin Immunization will be carried out if you are going to have a wedding to avoid disease and infection.
