This is often an early sign of vaginitis. This study aims to determine the relationship between personal hygiene behavior during menstruation with the incidence of pruritus vulvae in students at SMP Negeri 3 Batang Angkola in 2020. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. The population in this study was 155 students at SMP Negeri 3 Batang Angkola, South Tapanuli Regency in the academic year 2020/2021, and the sample was 61 people with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the chi square test with a confidence level of 95% α = 0.05. After doing the research, it was found that the majority were 14 years old as many as 24 people (39.3%), the majority of bad behavior were 37 people (60.7%) and the majority suffered from pruritus vulvae as many as 37 people (60,7%). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between personal hygiene behavior during menstruation with the incidence of pruritus vulvae in students at SMP Negeri 3 Batang Angkola, South Tapanuli Regency in 2020 where p = 0.001. It is hoped that students of SMP Negeri 3 Batang Angkola, South Tapanuli Regency who have bad personal hygiene can improve personal hygiene by maintaining personal hygiene.
