HUBUNGAN INISIASI MENYUSUI DINI (IMD) DENGAN INVOLUSIO UTERI PADA IBU NIFAS DI PMB NELLY HARAHAP KOTA PADANGSIDIMPUAN UTARA

Abstract

Early sucking initiation is one factor that affected to uterus involution because in the sucking process there is stimulation with hormone of oxytocin that functioned to have contraction and retraction of uterus muscle beside stimulate the rising of soft-muscles on breast. Here, it is taken to press blood vessel which cause the reduction of blood supply to uterus. This research is taken to know the correlation of early sucking initiation with uterus involution for the mother’s porturition in PMB Nelly Harahap Kota Padangsidimpuan in the year 2021. This research is taken place in PMB Nelly Harahap with 26 mothers as the respondents, namely 13 of them get early sucking initiation and the others, 13 mothers are not having it. The data analysis is Chi Square Test. The result shows that TFU normal is about the 12 respondents (46.2%) and 14 respondents (53.8%) without TFU abnormal. The conclusion, there is correlation of early sucking initiation with involution uterus for mother’s porturition with p=0.018 (0.018 < 0.05). The suggestion, it is expected for the health-servant, especially midwife to give healtheducation about early sucking initiation in the porturition period.
