Abstract: THE STUDY PROGRAM OF MIDWIFERY BACHELOR PROGRAM FACULTY OF HEALTH AUFA ROYHAN UNIVERSITY IN THE CITY OF PADANGSIDIMPUAN Research report, August 2020 Ganti Farlina Batubara Relationship Of Knowledge And Attitudes Of Female Age Women To The Interest Of Doing Iva Test In The Working Area Of Puskesmas Wek I, Padangsidimpuan City in 2020 ABSTRACT The death rate due to cervical cancer in Indonesia is due to 95% of women of childbearing age (WUS) who do not undergo early screening, which causes delays in diagnosis of cervical cancer cases is caused by a lack of knowledge and awareness to perform early detection such as IVA (Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid) so that cervical cancer is only found at an advanced stage. The purpose of this study was determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards the interest in doing the IVA test at the Puskesmas Wek I, Padangsidimpuan City in 2020. This study used quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The result showed that were 64 respondent (95,5%) with insufficient knowledge and did not perform the IVA test (p value = 0,000), and 62 respondents (93,9%) with negative attitudes and did not to the IVA test, p value = 0,000 (p < 0,05). There is a relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of women of childbearing age to the interest in doing the IVA test.
