The research design used was correlational descriptive. The location of this research was conducted in the Maternity Room of the Panyabungan General Hospital. The time of the research was carried out from April 2020 to September 2020. The population in this study were all mothers who gave birth to Primi Gravida in the delivery room of the Panyabungan General Hospital. sampling using accidental sampling technique. The results of statistical tests using the Chi Square test obtained p = 0.006 (<0.05), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between husband's assistance and the anxiety level of Primi Gravida mothers in dealing with the first stage of labor in the delivery room at Panyabungan Hospital in 2020. It is recommended to add insight to researchers so that they can provide good help for mothers who give birth and can provide motivation for husbands and mothers. gravida primi maternity so that there is no anxiety.
