Abstract

STUDY PROGRAM OF MIDWIFERY - BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMS - HEALTH FACULTY - UNIVERSITY OF AUFA ROYHAN IN PADANGSIDIMPUAN Research Report, 21 July 2020 Nelly Marliana Harahap The relationship of baby weight Newborn and the pressure position to the degree of perineal rupture in a midwife's independent practice in Padangsidimpuan 2020 ABSTRACT The Rate Of Maternal mortality as many as 205 deaths in 2017 down to 185 deaths in 2018. The aim of this study to know there was a relationship between baby weight Newborn and the pressure position with the incidence of perineal rupture at the midwife's independent practice in Padangsidimpuan 2020. The Type of quantitative research with research design analytic descriptively with a cross sectional approach. Subject used in this research that was, all mothers give birth who have ruptured the perineum as many as 38 people. The Sampling used accidental sampling. The Analysis of data used was the chi square test. The Research result got a significant price between baby weight with the incidence of perineal rupture, with the Chi Square value test the value of ρ value 0.010 <0.05 and between positions to accept with the incidence of perineal rupture, with the Chi Square value test the value of ρ value 0.012 <0.05 which means the results of the research shows that there was a relationship between newborn weight and the pressure position with the incidence of perineal rupture in normal delivery at the Dora Meliana Of midwife's independent practice in Padangsidimpuan 2020.
